Taking Control/Changing Direction
While our Education focuses on employees and organizations,
COACHING IS ALL ABOUT YOU.
Why do I need a coach?
Even professionals who are at the top of their game sometimes find that achieving those last few goals or finding new goals to keep their career moving can be elusive. Coaching helps you to take that next step in your success.
I’m busy. How can I fit coaching into my schedule?
It’s easy! ICF-Certified Coach, Dr. Barbara Provost MS EdD works with you on a one-on-one basis using telephone meetings that fit into your busy schedule. Barbara Provost MS EdD spends the time focusing on you, what you want to discuss, and what you want to achieve. In-person coaching meetings are available for Chicago-area clients.
What can coaching really do for me?
A coach helps you to:
- Clarify your goals by focusing on your needs, values and vision,
- Solve problems,
- Design a plan of action that works through changes and obstacles,
- Forge new opportunities instead of waiting for them to come along,
- Make decisions and strive for success, and ultimately…
- REACH YOUR GOALS
The Coaching Process
Coaches are trained to support you as you find your own best answers. Even the most successful people get stuck. They know what they want to do, they just can’t quite get there. A coach can help you out of the rut and into success. Barbara Provost MS EdD will guide you through these changes with four pillars of support:
- Listen – You are the focus. She listens to what you say, what you are trying to say, and what you are not saying.
- Share – She shares her ideas with you, comments, and views on your situation, dilemma, or opportunity.
- Endorse – She will be that voice full of endorsement, compassion and acknowledgement as you move forward toward your goals.
- Suggest – part of a coach’s job is to be at least three steps ahead of you, yet be there to run alongside you. Barbara Provost MS EdD will make requests and suggestions to coach you to your dreams.
