Education strategy and design
Our company founder, Dr. Barbara Provost MS EdD, is a real-world business veteran and an Adjunct Professor at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Much of what Barbara Provost MS EdD teaches centers around communication in the workplace and change management. Many of her students are already in the work force, obtaining their degrees and moving up in the business world.
It’s a common misconception that employees are motivated primarily by money. While compensation always helps, research shows that the number one thing people want is growth and development in their work. They want to be successful in the job that they do.
So whether you’re rolling out a new product line, making significant changes to your organization, or just taking a fresh look at your training program, investing in employee education results in workers with:
- higher motivation,
- greater feelings of success in their jobs, and
- increased competence and success.
Expense vs. Investment
We’ve all experienced traditional “training” that consists of hours or days of slide presentations in large venues. It’s expensive, it’s tedious, and it often fails to yield real learning. Taking people off the sales line or workforce should be an investment, not an expense.
Our team will design and develop education that will help your end users be successful, competent and confident in the work that they do. Creating education that is engaging and will hit the mark for the learner is the key to making it work.
